He is the Archangel of music, poetry, prayer, and works closely with musicians.   He works closely with the flow of creativity, through the sound of music and the spoken word. He has a very down to earth energy, because he is equally grounded to the earth as he is to the heavens.
                                 
His name means brother in Greek.  He is believed to be the twin brother to Metatron
 
Archangel Sandalphon and Archangel Metatron are said to be the only archangels in heaven who were originally mortal men and at one time walked the earth. He is thought to be the prophet Elija
 
His chief role is to carry human prayers to the Divine so they may be clearly heard and answered.
 
It is also belived that Sandlalphon protects babies that cannot be born and carries thier souls back to heaven.
 
He is very accessible to people who are trapped in lower vibrations, such as fear and negativity. These negative emotions make many of the other Archangels harder to connect to; because your vibration must be at a higher frequency to connect to their energy.
 
He has a calming and peaceful energy.   He can help balance out your energy and distribute it evenly throughout your body.  This will create a feeling of well being with less stress, and a feeling of being less overwhelmed.
